A delicious fried chicken burger recipe.

Easy

Method

  1. Preheat Air Fryer:
Set the air fryer to 190°C and preheat for 5 minutes.
  2. Prepare Chicken:
Flatten the chicken thighs by making small cuts on the uneven side to ensure even cooking.
  3. Soak Chicken:
Soak the chicken in buttermilk for at least 1 hour. For best results, soak overnight for a juicier burger.
  4. Coat Chicken:
Coat the soaked chicken thighs in the KFC-style flour mixture, ensuring the coating is not too thick.
  5. Cook Chicken:
Place the coated thighs in the air fryer and cook at 200°C for 12 minutes.
  6. Melt Cheese:
One minute before cooking is complete, add the cheese slices on top to melt.
  7. Warm Bun:
In the last 30 seconds, add the milk bun to warm it up.
  8. Assemble Burger:
Build your burger with the fried chicken, melted cheese, dill pickles, and shredded cabbage. Enjoy!
