Watermelon Tepache

A delicious watermelon tepache recipe.

Easy

Method

  1. Dissolve sugar and yeast in 1/2 cup hot water in a jar.
  2. Add watermelon skins, mint, and cinnamon.
  3. Fill with cold distilled water (boiled and cooled).
  4. Cover and let ferment for 5 days.
  5. Shake, strain, and chill overnight. Serve over ice with tequila or vodka.
