Pork and Hokkien Noodles

A delicious pork and hokkien noodles recipe.

Ingredients

250g Pork loin

200g Hokkien noodles

Choy sum or other Asian greens

50g Bamboo shoots

50g Water chestnuts

Sauce:

50ml Soy sauce

20g Ginger (minced)

1 clove garlic (minced)

80ml Oyster sauce

100ml Beef stock

50ml Chinese cooking wine

Splash of sesame oil

1 teaspoon crispy fried chili

Method

  1. Prepare the sauce by mixing all the sauce ingredients together.

  2. Cut the greens and water chestnuts into bite-sized pieces.

  3. Slice the pork loin into thin strips.

  4. Heat a wok over medium-high heat.

  5. Add the pork and a bit of sauce, cooking until just browned.

  6. Add bamboo shoots and water chestnuts; cook for about a minute.

  7. Add the Hokkien noodles (microwaved for 30 seconds to soften).

  8. Pour in enough sauce to coat the noodles.

  9. Add the greens and stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until just wilted.

  10. Serve and enjoy!
